I won't go so far as to steal VH1's program title and call this the "Best Week Ever," but it has been a pretty darn good week so far ... and it's only halfway over.
On Monday, the Orioles beat the Yankees on Opening Day and the Tar Heels won the national championship. We both think it's pretty cool that UNC won the championship during our last year in North Carolina and our first year back.
On Tuesday, the Baltimore Sun ran a feature story about Oriole bloggers that mentioned my labor of love, Roar from 34.
And best of all, members of both of our families are visiting North Carolina this week (Renee, Brent, Rachel, and Ryan from Friday to Tuesday; Pete, Michele, Emily, Lindsay, and Madelyn aka Taylor Team 5 from Wednesday to Saturday).
We have plenty of photos and video but not as much time to post them. Hopefully we'll be able to do so soon.
